Professional activity

I'm am a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Animator Leonid Krokholev.

I began my professional career in 2002 with studying management, further work in the field of trade and administration at the enterprise.

Since 2005, I have received professional experience in an advertising agency and then in the company engaged in creating graphic design, creating sites and promoting on the Internet.

Professional Education

Thanks to this experience, I realized that my vocation is creativity, design and communication with people.

Despite everything, I successfully completed all the required exams and entered the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in 2012 in the faculty of graphic design.

After my semester on the exchange from HAWK High School, I realized that I want to study further in Germany, because I believe that this is the most important investment in my personal development.

Since 2014, I am studying graphic design in HAWK - HHG and also working in parallel as a graphic designer.

My approach to work

I can designate my professional activity as visual communication.
I work with graphic design, branding, creating logos, creative advertising, packaging, typography, photography, animation and video production.

Thanks to extensive experience in trade and administration, as well as in the field of design, I have such qualities as understanding what my client wants. I come to work with a client always individually, since all projects are always.

I worked as a graphic designer for about two years with such large companies in Germany as Continental and HaСon, so I know what is required today for a graphic designer to be successful in graphic design and how to communicate with customers.

In March 2018, as part of my project work, I decided to understand how I could develop my professional talents after school.

I came to the conclusion that today a blog is one of the means of self-expression of one's creativity, one of the means of developing my personal and professional qualities through analysis and problem solving, through communication with the audience, through teaching and self-expression.

I decided to expand my professional skills by creating my blog on my website.

I believe that the blog helps in professional development, because through my blog I can share my professional experience, answer complex questions that arise in the work, communicate with people who need advice and with their clients who want to see my worker process.

I think it's good to have a portfolio site, but ready-made work is just the result. The most difficult part in the work of a graphic designer is the workflow itself.

Many people do not understand that graphic design requires a lot of time, including concept development, sketching, prototyping, working with a large number of programs, communicating with customers, finding ideas and much more.

Goals of my blog

My blog has educational, cognitive, developing, creative goals aimed at improving both my professional activities and the development of people who want to learn something new and develop together with mine.

The purposes of my blog are to show my workflow, to answer questions that seem difficult to me, to share my personal idea of how to create a logo, illustration, infographic, animation, typography.

I also want to answer questions related to work in programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Muse, and InDesign.
